KOSOVSKA MITROVICA EU office in Kosovo head Samuel Zbogar has stated that it was important to continue the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina. Brussels will send separate invitations to prime ministers in Belgrade and Pristina for the talks, he said on Friday. "PMs in Belgrade and Pristina to get invitation for talks" "A lot was adopted and harmonized, and still more things need to be agreed concerning the dialogue, he noted. The EU believes the technical talks should continue, because there are more questions to discuss regarding energy," Zbogar stated, adding that the resumption should happen as soon as possible, but after Serbia formed a government. Commenting on whether the talks would be raised to a higher level in the next stage, he stressed there were issues that might require an approach on a higher level. "The EU has heard Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic, who expressed in Brussels willingness, that is need, to raise the talks to a political level," Zbogar stated, adding that he believed Kosovo was "also willing to an extent to discuss normalization of the relations between Pristina and Belgrade": "The EU would like that to happen, to start addressing those large issues regarding relations. However, it depends on both sides, and the EU is willing to help, but both sides have to be willing to enter such talks." The EU's next step will be separate invitations to the prime ministers in Belgrade and Pristina to come to Brussels, right after Serbia forms a government, and to see through those talks how willing the two sides are to embark on talks about normalizing their relations. Zbogar visited Kosovska Mitrovica on the north of the province on Friday, as the Information-Cultural Center of the EU, opened earlier, moved to new premises, which he said he "wished would be a location that people would like to visit, where they would get information about the EU and its projects in northern Kosovo".
