BELGRADE New Serbia (NS) leader Velimir Ilic will be at the helm of the Ministry of Construction and Urbanism in Serbia's new government. This was announced after a session of the party's presidency in Belgrade on Friday. New Serbia announced that the ministry's goal will be to implement "concrete and comprehensive changes". The presidency of the party - which was allied before the May elections with the Serb Progressives (SNS) - thus formally confirmed its participation in a new government, and "the taking of responsibility for the creation of the state policy". A team has been set up that will "make sure that responsible persons and experts take on the responsibility for holding public offices".
