BELGRADE New Serbia (NS) leader Velimir Ilic will be at the helm of the Ministry of Construction and Urbanism in Serbia's new government. This was announced after a session of the party's presidency in Belgrade on Friday. NS leader to head Ministry of Construction and Urbanism A statement also said that the ministry will be in charge of building "the corridor". New Serbia announced that the ministry's goal will be to implement "concrete and comprehensive changes". The presidency of the party - which was allied before the May elections with the Serb Progressives (SNS) - thus formally confirmed its participation in a new government, and "the taking of responsibility for the creation of the state policy". A team has been set up that will "make sure that responsible persons and experts take on the responsibility for holding public offices".
