PM-Designate Ivica Dacic has called on the Democratic Party (DS) to say whether it has changed its policy now that it is in the opposition. Commenting on the information that DS leader Boris Tadic attended the Croatia Summit in Dubrovnik on Saturday where he met and shook hands with Kosovo PM Hashim Thaci, he said that this was “Tadic’s personal visit”. PM-designate slams DS over Tadic's Croatia visit Dacic stressed that Tadic could only represent the DS at the summit since he no longer was a state official. He noted that this showed that Tadic led one policy while he was a president and the other as a leader of the opposition party. The PM-designate pointed out that it was the DS’ proposal not to attend any meetings where Kosovo officials were present. Dacic said that it was not good for the Democrats to have a different attitude toward state issues when they were in power and when they were in the opposition, stressing that all parties should advocate the same policy whether they were in power or not. “This only gave legitimacy to Thaci because there is suspicion that he is involved in organ trafficking. Boris Tadic’s move is an absolute enigma to me,” he said. “If somebody thinks this is enough to make a big coalition, they are mistaken because I have no intention to return the mandate,” Dacic concluded.
