Serb National Council (SNV) President Milan Ivanovic says he expects a new government to fulfill election promises regarding Kosovo. Ivanovic told a news conference that yesterday's attack on Serbs during the marking of the religious holiday Vidovdan was well prepared. Serbs in Kosovo expect new govt. will protect them "It also represents a message to Serbs that, even in the presence of the international community they cannot have security, but that rather all available resources will be applied against them to chase them out of Kosovo and make them give up on the southern Serbian province," he added. Ivanovic said that he expects the new government in Belgrade to protect its people in Kosovo and Metohija which, as he said, was part of election promises. He added that he expects all relevant political parties and representatives of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija to take part in the solving of the problems of Serbs in Kosovo, that talks will be held pursuant to the Constitution and the UN Security Council Resolution 1244, and that the issue of security of Serbs in the province will be a priority. Ivanovic pointed out that he expects that agreements reached with Pristina during the Brussels dialogue will be reexamined. Tanjug
