NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen has said that "everyone should understand" that Kosovo will not be partitioned. According to an article in the Pristina-based Albanian language daily Koha Ditore, he stated that NATO would, through its KFOR mission, "do everything to ensure freedom of movement for all".
