The Indeksonline website is reporting that Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) and Self-Determination Movement members were involved in the incident, which took place in the assembly's parking lot.
According to this, PDK's Latif Gashi and Self-Determination's Rexhep Selimi first clashed verbally over the statements heard from Selimi during the session, when he leveled accusations against the former Kosovo intelligence service SHIK, which was close to the PDK party.
After exchanging words, they proceeded to exchange punches, according to the media.
Two more members of the assembly, one from each party, joined in the brawl.
Eyewitnesses said that one of them - Bekim Haxhiu of the PDK - left the parking lot "bloodied", while Florin Krasniqi of the Self-Determination Movement "received a few blows".
