Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) acting leader Aleksandar Vucic once again called on the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) to discuss the parliamentary majority. He added that a government that would be formed by the Democratic Party (DS) would be short-lived. “Democrat-led government would be short-lived” “The SNS has done everything possible to form a government. We offered talks to the Socialist Party of Serbia, waiting for their reaction. If they want to go into coalition with the Democratic Party and their partners, they can go,” Vucic stressed. “People wanted change and a different rule, but if they do form a government, in a few months we will beat them all together,” Vucic told citizens of the southern Serbian municipality of Medvedja where local elections will be held on June 24. “If however, the government is formed by SNS, government representatives will visit each municipality in Serbia, rebuild factories in villages and secure jobs,” the SNS leader explained. “Our people are hardworking and they know how to work, it is only necessary that the state does not hinder but help them,” he noted.
