The Raska-Prizren Eparchy has called on all relevant institutions to prevent a humanitarian crisis in Kosovo. “Political pressures and the use of force against the Serbian population will inevitably affect the further process of moving out that unfortunately continues, while the process of return has almost completely stopped,” the Eparchy stated in a release. Eparchy warns of humanitarian crisis in Kosovo The Raska-Prizren Eparchy “expressed concern over KFOR’s latest actions in northern Kosovo”, adding that “attempts to force the Serbs in the north to accept Kosovo license plates by using combat vehicles and blocking alternative roads that are the main channel for supplies and medicines, are creating a serious humanitarian crisis that could have immense consequences”. “We strongly urge that the existing problems be solved through dialogue and without the use of force and threats. The Eparchy calls on all relevant factors to get constructively involved in finding solutions that should contribute to survival of the Serbian people in the entire territory of Kosovo and Metohija and to a normal life of all citizens in these parts,” reads the statement. The Raska-Prizren Eparchy also called on the Serbs to remain calm and to protect their fundamental rights in a peaceful and dignified manner. A view of the Gracanica monastery (FoNet, file) Tanjug
