EULEX judge releases Serb from custody

UNMIK administration worker Jovica Miljkovic, who was arrested by Kosovo police last week, was released from custody on Friday. The investigation will be continued against him, his lawyer Ljubomir Pantovic told Tanjug. EULEX judge releases Serb from custody Pantovic said that the decision to release Miljkovic was made by a Vucitrn Municipal Court judge and that his client has an obligation to report to the police three times a week until the end of the case. The lawyer recalled that a few days ago, this Kosovo Serb case was taken over by EULEX, which found no grounds to keep him in detention. Miljkovic was arrested in the village of Suvi Do near Kosovska Mitrovica last week on suspicion of participation in the group that demolished one of the guardhouses which members of the Kosovo Police (KPS) intended to put up in one of the villages in the city last month.
