The League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina (LSV) is and will be committed to Serbia's EU accession although the EU is no heaven, leader Nenad Canak has said. But the LSV leader told an an election rally in Novi Sad late on Sunday that the alternatives to the EU are "close to hell". Alternatives to EU "close to hell", says LSV leader “Now we should all fight for a victory, which would bring full autonomy to Vojvodina, that is legislative, judicial and executive power, its own revenues and right to property,” Canak said. He stressed that five LSV officials in the country's parliament have done much more for the northern province than "all other Vojvodina officials who represent other parties". Canak said that in the previous four years Vojvodina was left short of EUR 600 million which, as he put it, belong it in keeping with the Serbian Constitution.
