Romania ratifies SAA with Serbia

Romanian President Traian Basescu has signed into law the ratification of the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) with Serbia, his press office said. In early March, the Romanian Senate approved the bill on the ratification of the SAA with Serbia, the agency Rompress reported. Romania ratifies SAA with Serbia The Romanian Senate passed the bill on ratification on April 2. Romania is 26th country that has ratified the agreement, so Lithuania is the only state that has yet to do so. To come into force, Serbia's SAA with the EU has to be ratified by all 27 EU member states. The agreement was signed in the spring of 2008. Tanjug

Romania ratifies SAA with Serbia

The Romanian Senate passed the bill on ratification on April 2.

Romania is 26th country that has ratified the agreement, so Lithuania is the only state that has yet to do so.

To come into force, Serbia's SAA with the EU has to be ratified by all 27 EU member states.

The agreement was signed in the spring of 2008.
