Officials the opposition Serb Progressives (SNS) campaigned in Belgrade today, congratulating Easter to the citizens and handing out Easter eggs to children. The party's main board member Marko Djuric said that the SNS "would not deal with politics on Easter", but nonetheless called on them to "unite around their families, and changes". SNS Presidency member Zorana Mihajlovic also congratulated the holiday on behalf of party leader and presidential candidate Tomislav Nikolic, and his deputy Aleksandar Vucic. "I would like to congratulate Easter to you with the hope that the government of Boris Tadic and his partners, which made us the poorest in the region, will never happen again," she said. Mihajlovic also said that "when he is elected president on May 6", Nikolic would proceed to unite Serbia and together with its citizens, turn it into "a modern, decent and successful country where young people will have a chance to find work".
