EU mediator in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Robert Cooper has reacted to recent arrests in Kosovo by calling on Belgrade and Pristina to act responsibly. He pointed out that political problems could not be solved through arrests. The EU facilitator issued the release as a comment on a recent arrest of a number of Kosovo Serbs for “jeopardizing security,” which was followed by another arrest at the Konculj administrative crossing of two ethnic Albanians, for whom Serbian Interior Minister Ivica Dacic said had been detained for espionage and drug trafficking.
