Negotiator Borislav Stefanovic says the agreement on regional representation of Kosovo reached in the Belgrade-Pristina talks must be implemented in full. Speaking in Belgrade on Thursday after a Pristina delegation invited to a Belgrade gathering staged a walkout, Stefanovic said that full implementation meant "the footnote and asterisk" beside the name of the province. Negotiator: Agreement must be fully implemented He said that the problems caused at the events in Belgrade and Sarajevo - where a Serbian delegation left a conference after participants from Pristina refused to take part with the footnote attached to the word "Kosovo" - were "just a failed attempt by Pristina to change the Brussels agreement". Stefanovic told Tanjug that the Serbian government will on Friday give clear instructions to all state authorities how to act in case of problems at meetings, and that it will also inform all regional organizations on elements of the agreement reached in Brussels. Stefanovic also said that the Prissina delegation today left the meeting in Belgrade because they refused to take part in accordance with the agreement that the name of Kosovo must have a footnote - without prejudice to the status. He added that the problem was repeated in Sarajevo, where the Serbian delegation decided to leave the meeting because the footnote was not included. It just shows that Pristina is trying to change the agreement that was reached, he said. Stefanovic also noted that they "often have the support of some influential country for such behavior". He reiterated that Pristina can be represented exclusively according to the formula agreed in Brussels - with an asterisk and a footnote as an inseparable part of the name of Kosovo.
