Auditor announces new complaints

State Audit Institution (DRI) President Radoslav Sretenovic has announced that new complaints for illegal spending of state funds will be filed soon. He did not want to say against whom the complaints would be filed because the legal analysis of auditors’ reports was still underway. Auditor announces new complaints “There will certainly be new complaints. I cannot say at the moment when and how many because legal teams are just finishing up all the analyses of the reports,” he told Beta news agency. In late 2011 the DRI published a report on money spending in 47 institutions in 2010. Numerous irregularities were noticed and 18 complaints and three criminal charges were filed. “There will certainly be new complaints. I cannot say at the moment when and how many because legal teams are just finishing up all the analyses of the reports,” he told Beta news agency.

In late 2011 the DRI published a report on money spending in 47 institutions in 2010. Numerous irregularities were noticed and 18 complaints and three criminal charges were filed.

The DRI filed 19 complaints for illegal spending in 2008 and 12 complaints against 14 state officials were filed in 2009.
