Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) leader Tomislav Nikolic has said that he could give up on everything except for the state, people, religion and family. “Serbia is as big as it is, we are not asking for it to be one foot bigger, not an inch but we won’t let it be a single foot, a single inch smaller either. Anyone who wants to talk to us like that is welcome,” he told reporters on Christmas Eve. “SNS won’t give up on state, people, religion” He stressed that the SNS wanted to bring a better life to Serbia and called on everybody to help the country. “We will form a wide national movement for all the people of good will, for all those who feel that Serbia is slowly sinking and disappearing, for all those who know that we must never give a single Serbian holy place in Kosovo and Metohija to anyone,” Nikolic added. According to him, there will be room in the movement for all those who know that the SNS will not give up on the policy that includes intensive cooperation with the EU, “unless it is seriously pressured”.
