DS official talks "more money in citizens' pockets" In an interview for Tanjug, Sutanovac announced that in the next few months, the would decide on the parties it would join in pre-election coalition with, and whether it would propose its candidate for next prime minister and members of his cabinet. He said that DS is above all interested in minority parties, Rasim Ljajic's Social-Democratic Party for one, cautioning that the DS future coalition partners would have to abide by the agreed policy. As far as the post-election coalitions, he did not rule out parties such as the United Regions of Serbia (URS), the Serbian Renewal Movement (SPO) and the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP). Sutanovac said that the political program the Democrats would present at the next elections is far more important than the name of the next prime minister or the members of his team. Just like in the 2007campaign, the DS will insist on a better standard of living for the people as our main goal, he said. "The DS is a social-democratic party, and we believe that without a strong economy it is not possible to aim for the EU standards. I am certain that the new policy we will present at the next elections would very soon pour more money into the pockets of our citizens," Sutanovac concluded. (Tanjug) Tanjug
