Governments of Serbia and RS sign agreements

The governments of Serbia and the Serb Republic (RS) signed three agreements in Belgrade on Friday, after holding a joint session of the two cabinets.

The governments of Serbia and the Serb Republic (RS) signed three agreements in Belgrade on Friday, after holding a joint session of the two cabinets. The RS is the Serb entity in the post-Dayton Bosnia-Herzegovina, which also consists of the Muslim-Croat Federation. Governments of Serbia and RS sign agreements Serbia's Interior Minister Ivica Dacic and his RS counterpart Stanislav Cadjo signed a memorandum of understanding between the two ministries. The two ministries of finance signed an implementation agreement on train-wagon production and information technology. The document was signed by State Secretary Dusan Nikezic and RS Minister of Finance Zoran Tegeltija. The memorandum of understanding between the Serbian Ministry of Environment, Mining and Spatial planning and the RS Ministry of Spatial Planning, Civil Engineering and Ecology was signed by Serbia's State Secretary Bojan Djuric and RS Minister Srebrenka Golic. The previous meeting of the two governments was held in Banja Luka back in March. Serbia's Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic and his RS colleague Aleksandar Dzombic said at the time that the relations between Belgrade and Banja Luka had never been better. Two credit contracts worth around 21 million Bosnian covertible marks were signed then. One loan, worth BAM 16.5 million, was meant for a purchase of 200 train-wagons for RS, while the other worth 4.5 million, was for an acquisition of computer equipment for RS schools. Serbia and RS have signed 27 agreements so far based on the agreement on special parallel ties between them, and six more are being prepared. Serbia's Interior Minister Ivica Dačić and his RS counterpart Stanislav Čađo signed a memorandum of understanding between the two ministries.

The two ministries of finance signed an implementation agreement on train-wagon production and information technology.

The document was signed by State Secretary Dušan Nikezić and RS Minister of Finance Zoran Tegeltija.
