Denmark's presidency, he explained, will focus on the troubled eurozone, and described it as "the worst crisis the EU ever had". Serbia, meanwhile, is awaiting the decision on the next stage of its EU membership bid from the European Council, due to be announced on December 9. Previously, the European Commission recommended that the Council makes Serbia a candidate for membership, but all 27 EU member states much reach consensus on this recommendation.
