Kosovo Serbs took turns in guarding barricades in northern Kosovo during Wednesday night, while KFOR made no moves. Both lanes of the Leposavic-Raska main road near Jarinje are blocked, after KFOR members took over one barricade and blocked two byroads on Wednesday morning. No new KFOR actions in northern Kosovo The Jarinje administrative crossing is still blocked, and there is no traffic over the Branjak administrative checkpoint as well. As a result, the traffic between northern Kosovo and central Serbia is realized by alternative roads. Serbs remained on barricades in Kosovska Mitrovica, Zvecan, Zupce and Jagnjenica during Wednesday night. The main roads in northern Kosovo, apart from the area near Jarinje, have one lane open which can be used by KFOR to move freely.
