At the administrative crossings, they have unloaded large quantities of gravel and dirt in front of the barbed fire put up by KFOR soldiers, stopping all traffic. Northern Kosovo Serbs reinforce barricades At both the Brnjak and Jarinje crossings, the gravel blocks are several meters high, and at Jarinje it also blocks the road leading to the KFOR base near the crossing. Barricades have also been fortified in the village of Rudare in the Zvecan municipality. In Zvecan, trucks are blocking the road near the railway bridge across the Ibar River, but one lane is still open for traffic. The road from Zvecan to Kosovska Mitrovica is also blocked near the entrance to the city, with one lane open. The barricade on the main bridge over the Ibar, which divides the south from the north part of Mitrovica, has also been fortified. During the night, the barricade at the eastern bridge across the Ibar was also fortified, with several trucks unloading gravel to build an obstacle over two meters high. Video surveillance at the bridge was damaged while the barricade was being put in place. Kosovo police officers, who came to the bridge immediately after, withdraw just after 23:00 CET , with one of their vehicles staying on the northern side of Kosovska Mitrovica. On the southern side of the bridge, local police officers are joined by members of the EULEX police. Serbs also used logs to block the Kosovska Mitrovica - Ribarici road at the village of Zupce. At several locations across northern Kosovo, people are ready to block roads with trucks on a moment's notice if KFOR troops try to move. They have already blocked a KFOR unit in Socanica near Leposavic.
