The Serb Progressive Party (SNS) has called for the government to face a no confidence vote in parliament over its handling of the north Kosovo crisis. The largest opposition party also condemned Kosovo Albanian, EULEX and KFOR’s action at the administrative checkpoints. SNS calls for government no confidence vote “We believe that no moral person can, must and has the right to support such government anymore. A way out for Serbia and its citizens is calling of early elections and coming to power of those who will take care of the state and national interests,” the SNS claims. The party claims that the Albanian, EULEX and KFOR’s action was illegal but that it shows that the Serbian authorities did not even have a plan. “The Serbian Progressive Party condemns Serbian government’s wrong and meaningless policy, whose result is catastrophic to Serbs and the Serbian state. It is completely clear now that there was no serious state plan to do anything in favor of our state and our citizens,” the party pointed out. The Progressives stressed that a loud and sharp rhetoric of the government representatives, negotiators and President Boris Tadic was just a media smokescreen to cover a complete lack of plan and negotiating strategy in the state policy toward Kosovo.
