Pacolli says Nigeria recognized Kosovo

Kosovo Albanian Deputy Prime Minister Behgjet Paccolli has announced that Nigeria had recognized Kosovo as independent. His cabinet said late on Monday that Pacolli was currently in Africa, "lobbying for recognitions", and that "Nigeria's decision was very important because that country has exceptional influence in that part of the world". The territory itself is unable to join the world organization as Serbia rejected the unilateral declaration of independence, made by ethnic Albanians in February 2008.
