The government in Pristina started implementing its ban on Serbian goods at the Brnjak checkpoint near Zubin Potok on Friday. Zubin Potok Mayor Slavisa Ristic confirmed for Tanjug that KFOR and the so-called Kosovo customs officers at the Brnjak administrative crossing started implementing the Kosovo government's decision imposing embargo on the goods from Serbia. Serbs in north fear shortage of food, medical supplies Ristic voiced concern over the new developments and underlined that this can lead to a shortage of food and medical supplies to the Serb north. At this crossing, cars and buses are being controlled by members of the Kosovo police (KPS), while the vehicles transporting goods from Serbia are being checked by the Kosovo customs officers. They did not allow a van carrying goods from Serbia to enter Kosovo on Friday morning. The NATO-led force in the province, KFOR, is also present at Brnjak. (Tanjug)
