EULEX prosecutors took over the case of five Serbs arrested at Gazimestan last week after the celebration of St. Vitus Day from Kosovo prosecutors on Wednesday. This was confirmed by EULEX Spokeswoman Irina Gudeljevic. EULEX takes over case of arrested Serbs “This is the result of requests submitted by the acting chief prosecutor of EULEX to the chief district prosecutor in Pristina. The proceedings have been launched against Slavko Djordan, Marko Rankovic, Goran Bjelogrlic, Marko Jeftovic and Milos Trickovic, she stressed. On Tuesday, the EU mission in the province said it was "monitoring the case". The five arrested Serbs were given a one-month detention. One of them is in custody in Pristina, and the other four in Gnjilane. They are charged with vandalism and violence against the Kosovo police officers.

On Tuesday, the EU mission in the province said it was "monitoring the case".

The five arrested Serbs were given a one-month detention. One of them is in custody in Priština, and the other four in Gnjilane.

They are charged with vandalism and violence against the Kosovo police officers.
