"Serbia is willing to discuss a way of ensuring Kosovo's presence at international meetings", says the Belgrade team leader in Kosovo talks, Borko Stefanovic. That is going to be one of the topics for the talks between Belgrade and Pristina, he told the Frankfurt-based Serbian language newspaper Vesti. Pristina's presence at intl. meetings on agenda Serbia will continue to protest whenever Kosovo is represented "as a country" at international meetings, Stefanovic noted. "Kosovo cannot take part in international meetings in the same way Romania, Bulgaria or someone else can. We are willing to discuss a way of ensuring Kosovo's presence in these organizations, Stefanovic noted, adding that Kosovo could be represented "as an entity, rather than country". He is set to visit Pristina on Thursday as part of the preparations for the 4th round of the talks. Besides meeting with head of the Pristina team Edita Tahiri, Stefanovic will also meet Kosovo government officials. All of the heads of ethnic Albanian political parties apart from Self-Determination leader Albin Kurti have said they want to meet with Stefanovic. The head of the Serbian team will also appear on the Radio and Television of Kosovo. "No problem is easily resolved if viewed solely through the prism of Kosovo's status. Pristina is the one looking at everything through the prism of the status, while we have found a way to be creative enough and give suggestions to improve people's lives while preserving our sovereignty," he pointed out.
