It is uncertain whether representatives of the Serbian government, unions and employers will sign a social agreement at today’s Social-Economic Council meeting. The draft agreement was harmonized last week. Signing of social agreement still uncertain “We have harmonized the complete draft, only to have contradictory statements five minutes after leaving the conference room in which we spent hours and days negotiating,” said Labor and Social Policy Minister Rasim Ljajic. The minimum price of one working hour is RSD 95 at the moment. Possible increase to RSD 102 will make the minimum wage in Serbia RSD 17,748. Serbian Association of Employers has announced that the increase is unacceptable for them, unless untaxed part of the income increases from current RSD 7,500 to RSD 16,000.
