Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) leader Cedomir Jovanovic has stated that parliamentary elections in Serbia will be held between mid-December and mid-January. “That’s quite clear… And enough with the meaningless guessing of the exact date already,” he told daily Danas. LDP leader on early elections “The DS (Democratic Party) and the SNS (Serbian Progressive Party) are imposing simulation of the exact date issue. Considering that they are getting politically less different, they are trying to score points on a meaningless subject whether citizens will go to the polls a week before or later,” Jovanovic pointed out. “Policy for the elections is important, since the deadline is already certain. A platform that we are going to the elections with is already clear for us but other parties persistently remain quiet about their ideas. That’s why they only talk about the dates,” the LDP leader was quoted as saying. “You go to the elections with policy and dates are no policy.
