President signs book of condolences for Japan victims

Serbian President Boris Tadić signed the book of condolence at the Japanese embassy in Belgrade on Thursday.

Serbian President Boris Tadic signed the book of condolence at the Japanese embassy in Belgrade on Thursday. He expressed his deepest sympathy to the people of Japan over the terrible tragedy that befell that country. President signs book of condolences for Japan victims "This is a moment in which the whole world is united in offering help to Japan, just like Japan has always been ready to help everyone else," Tadic wrote in the book of condolence. Tadic also added that Serbia will never forget the solidarity the people and the government of Japan had shown over the recent period, underlying that Serbia will always be there for Japan in times of hardship. Japanese Ambassador to Serbia Toshio Tsunozaki welcomed President Tadic upon his arrival. During the meeting Tadic had with Tsunozaki after signing the book of condolence, the Serbian president said that the Serbian government is ready to send aid to Japan and that Serbia's rescue team is ready to go to the country, adding that the people of Japan “can always count on help from the Serbian people.” Ambassador Tsunozaki expressed his deep gratitude for the solidarity Serbia has shown for Japan in this difficult time that the country is going through, adding that he believes the Japanese people will overcome the misfortunes they are facing. The Japanese ambassador thanked Serbia for the assistance offered and noted that he informed the government in Tokyo. Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic also visited the Japanese embassy in Belgrade today to sign the book of condolences. (Beta)

Tadić also added that Serbia will never forget the solidarity the people and the government of Japan had shown over the recent period, underlying that Serbia will always be there for Japan in times of hardship.

Japanese Ambassador to Serbia Toshio Tsunozaki welcomed President Tadić upon his arrival.

During the meeting Tadić had with Tsunozaki after signing the book of condolence, the Serbian president said that the Serbian government is ready to send aid to Japan and that Serbia's rescue team is ready to go to the country, adding that the people of Japan “can always count on help from the Serbian people.”

Ambassador Tsunozaki expressed his deep gratitude for the solidarity Serbia has shown for Japan in this difficult time that the country is going through, adding that he believes the Japanese people will overcome the misfortunes they are facing.

The Japanese ambassador thanked Serbia for the assistance offered and noted that he informed the government in Tokyo.

Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetković also visited the Japanese embassy in Belgrade today to sign the book of condolences.
