Interior Minister Ivica Dacic says that questioning of the person that might know something about PM Zoran Djindjic's assassination have not started yet. “The prosecutor has compiled a list of the people who should be questioned regarding the 2002 mutiny of the Special Operations Unit (JSO) and a potential connection between the event and the 2003 assassination,” he told reporters. According to the daily, the Special Prosecution for Organized Crime will begin the investigation by questioning former witness associates. The Special Prosecution for Organized Crime is planning on questioning 30 persons in the pre-trial proceeding. 20 of them will be questioned by the police. "New information about the mutiny and political background of the prime minister’s murder that came from persons who have direct knowledge about the events will be checked with the old witnesses,” a well-informed source told the daily. “Only after the information has been crosschecked and some more witnesses have been questioned, persons against whom criminal proceeding will be launched are going to be questioned,” the source was quoted as saying. Aside from witness associates, the prosecution will also question those persons who it will file criminal charges against. Witness associates in cases of Djindjic’s murder and other Zemun gang’s crimes, including 17 murders, three kidnappings and terrorist attacks on Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) headquarters and Defense Road company are Ljubisa Buha aka Cume, Miladin Suvajdzic aka Djura Mutavi and Dejan Milenkovic aka Bagzi.

Police will begin an investigation into Special Operations Unit (JSO) mutiny and political background of PM Zoran Đinđić’s murder, daily Blic writes.

According to the daily, the Special Prosecution for Organized Crime will begin the investigation by questioning former witness associates.

The Special Prosecution for Organized Crime is planning on questioning 30 persons in the pre-trial proceeding. 20 of them will be questioned by the police.
