Eight ministers who served in the Cvetkovic cabinet prior to the reshuffle have been left out of the new proposed government lineup. PM Mirko Cvetkovic has announced the names of his deputies and ministers, and MPs are expected to start a new session this afternoon and vote on the proposal. Eight ministers left out of reshuffled cabinet Former minister and high ruling Democratic Party (DS) official Dusan Petrovic will once again join the cabinet. As a result of the government reshuffle, one of the party's deputy presidents will now take over as minister for agriculture and trade. Verica Kalanovic of the G17 Plus party will become one of deputy PMs. SPS party leader, First Deputy PM and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic said that his fellow Socialist and now former Energy Minister Petar Skundric was "to all effects and purposes a victim of partisan negotiations", adding that "we had no reason to replace him". Democratic Party officials met for a session of their presidency in Belgrade on Monday, but were unwilling to make any comments afterwards. The reshuffled government will see Bozidar Djelic remain one of Mirko Cvetkovic's deputies, but lose the science portfolio. Jovan Krkobabic (PUPS) will also remain a deputy PM, while Democrats Vuk Jeremic and Dragan Sutanovac will continue as foreign and defense ministers, as will Justice Minister Snezana Malovic and Kosovo Minister Goran Bogdanovic. Oliver Dulic is now minister of environment, spatial planning, and mining. Milan Markovic will head the state administration and local self-government ministry, which has been merged with the human and minority rights. Labor and Social Policy Minister Rasim Ljajic, Youth and Sports Minister Snezana Markovic-Samardzic and Minister without Portfolio Rasim Ljajic will all continue in their positions, while Srdjan Sreckovic will now head the ministry of religion and diaspora. Milutin Mrkonjic will add the energy portfolio to infrastructure, and Zarko Obradovic science to education. Predrag Markovic has been named new culture and information society minister, while Nebojsa Ciric will head the economy ministry. It has also been agreed that Zoran Stankovic should take over as health minister.

Former minister and high ruling Democratic Party (DS) official Dušan Petrović will once again join the cabinet.

As a result of the government reshuffle, one of the party's deputy presidents will now take over as minister for agriculture and trade.
