The Serbian Defense Ministry said in a release that the Serbian Army (VS) and its military retirees were not participating in the events in Libya in any way. “It is a fact that pilots and aircraft of the Serbian Army have never taken part in any combat operation outside the borders of Serbia, which denies the misinformation reported in some Arab media outlets,” the release says. “VS not participating in events in Libya” As stated, the Serbian Defense Ministry has through its military diplomacy established very high quality relations with a number of defense ministries in the world, including Libya's, but due to the current circumstances, at this point all joint activities between the two countries' ministries have been suspended.
