G17 Plus will not undermine the government, Telecommunications Minister and acting Economy Minister Jasna Matić, told daily Večernje novosti.

G17 Plus will not undermine the government, Telecommunications Minister and acting Economy Minister Jasna Matic, told daily Vecernje novosti. She says that it is necessary to choose a minister who will continue to “work on good projects which Mladjan Dinkic started” as soon as possible. “G17 Plus won't undermine government“ Matic explained that it would not be a problem for her to temporarily run the Economy Ministry since she had been a state secretary there. She said she did not know how the government reshuffle would be carried out but pointed out that it was probably too late for a more radical reshuffle. “However, I think that a reshuffle would be a clear sign of determination that the government will make an effort to speed up the recovery in the last year of its mandate and to emerge from the crisis as soon as possible. In our society, and especially in the government, there has to be a higher level of responsibility, that each and every one of us is responsible for the achieved results,“ Matic was quoted as saying. She also pointed out that realization of the strategy for a switch from an analog TV signal to a digitial one was going according to the plan and that a digitization project had recently started and that there was no reason to think that they would not be finished on time.
