Personnel changes in the Serbian government are expected in early March, said Parliament Speaker Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic. She stressed that resignation of Health Minister Tomica Milosavljevic will be officially accepted by February 20. “Personnel changes in govt. in March” According to her, after that Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic is expected to submit a new proposal on changes in his cabinet within two weeks, "considering the information which has already been made public". Djukic-Dejanovic pointed out that the ruling coalition’s leaders were expected to meet soon in order to determine the personnel changes in the government. She does not believe that the number of ministries will be reduced, because it would be necessary to change the Law on the Government in order to to this, "which would take a long time". The parliament speaker, however, did not completely rule out a government reshuffle, but added that she was "more inclind to believe" that personnel changes would happen in early March. It has been speculated for quite some time that there could be a government reshuffle and there were even allegations that the prime minister had offered his resignation to President Boris Tadic.
