“We fulfill all Hague recommendations”
Doubts regarding Serbia’s cooperation with the Hague Tribunal will be removed in February, said Deputy War Crimes Prosecutor Bruno Vekarić.

Doubts regarding Serbia’s cooperation with the Hague Tribunal will be removed in February, said Deputy War Crimes Prosecutor Bruno Vekaric. “The War Crimes Prosecution is in constant contact with the Hague Tribunal Chief Prosecutor Serge Brammertz,” he pointed out. “We fulfill all Hague recommendations” The deputy war crimes prosecutor said that they fulfilled all Brammertz’s recommendations and that his representatives were a part of the Action team in charge of locating and arresting two remaining Hague fugitives Ratko Mladic and Goran Hadzic. “We are in constant contact with Brammertz, we are fulfilling all recommendations he suggests and we will clear possible doubts in February when he is expected to come to Belgrade,” he stressed. Brammertz has announced earlier that he “expects Serbia to intensify its efforts in search for the indictees”. He said at the European Commission (EC) Foreign Policy Committee meeting last week that his next report on Serbia’s cooperation with the Hague Tribunal would be negative. Director of the government Office for Cooperation with the Hague Tribunal Dusan Ignjatovic says that it is too early to speak about Brammertz’s next report, which is due in June.
