The EC Questionnaire that Serbia will send back next week, containing answers to some 2,500 original questions, will have an addition. 23 "most interesting" answers given by the citizens will also be included. Serbians worry about nepotism and corruption The campaign was launched by the Belgrade Center for Human Rights with B92, and the NGO is currently making its selection of answers. Nevena Dicic of the Center says that those received "show what most bothers Serbia's citizens on its European way". "The citizens are most worried about corruption, financing of political parties, their stance toward their voters, the work of parliament, its irresponsibility," Dicic said, and noted that those who took part said that there was corruption and nepotism, when it comes to the way state administration selects its new employees. The answers will "help the European Union in further steps it intends to undertake in Euro-integrations", according to this activist. This, because "Brussels has not been acquainted with these answers, they did not have direct insight into the stance of the citizens". Dicic is also hopeful that the answers "might help them (EU) to stir the negotiations in the direction that is most useful to the citizens of Serbia".
