Vucic explained that the decision was made for “security reasons” since his party wanted to hold a “peaceful protest against the government”. According to the SNS deputy leader, his party will continue to insist on early elections and prevention of the sale of Telekom Srbija. Speaking about public speculations regarding their cooperation with the Democratic Party (DS), Vucic said that the SNS’ goal was to defeat all the parties of the ruling coalition and not to cooperate with them. He said that according to the latest polls difference between the SNS and the DS was increasing and that it was about six or seven percent.
