Kosovo PM Hashim Thaci has compared Council of Europe Rapporteur Dick Marty’s report on human organ trade to “Nazi propaganda”. He has denied any involvement in criminal activities and assessed that this is a “political revenge”. Marty’s report Nazi propaganda, Thaci says “Marty’s report contains numerous fabrications that rely on rumors and hearsay. The way Marty wrote his report reminds me of Joseph Goebbels’ propaganda,” Thaci told Swiss daily Tages-Anzeiger. “Neither myself nor any member of my family have an account in Switzerland,” the Kosovo PM was quoted as saying. He pointed out that Marty wanted to damage Kosovo’s reputation “in order to block new recognitions”. “Marty has put himself at the service of the worst Serbian nationalism by opposing the NATO bombing and independence of Kosovo,” Thaci stressed. According to him, the CoE rapporteur has insulted the Albanian people and his is trying to criminalize their fight for freedom against Serbian “oppression”. Hashim Thaci (FoNet)
