Foreign ministers of Bulgaria, Serbia and Greece expressed support to the EU integration of the Western Balkans at a trilateral meeting in Sofia on Saturday.

Foreign ministers of Bulgaria, Serbia and Greece expressed support to the EU integration of the Western Balkans at a trilateral meeting in Sofia on Saturday. Bulgarian FM Nikolay Mladenov, Serbian FM Vuk Jeremic and Greek FM Dimitris Droutsas also adopted a joint declaration on the European future of the region. Greek FM: Serbia in EU in 2018 The three ministers Droutsas said that Serbia could become an EU member in 2018, during Bulgaria's EU presidency. The three foreign ministers also agreed that the final decision on the exact date of the Western Balkan countries' EU accession should be made in 2014. Jeremic said that Serbia would make considerable efforts in order to begin negotiations with Brussels and added that Belgrade would be ready for talks already in 2011. The Serbian FM thanked his colleagues on the support that their respective countries give to Serbia's EU integration and proposed the strengthening of the regional cooperation and Mladenov and Droutsas promised to help Serbia on its EU path.

Greek FM: Serbia in EU in 2018
