LDP party leader Cedomir Jovanovic says it s positive that Serbian Ombudsman Sasa Jankovic is attending the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony in Oslo. But, he added speaking in Belgrade on Friday, "it is scandalous that he will be there as a representative of the government". LDP: Scandalous to send ombudsman to Oslo Jovanovic told reporters that LDP will not give up on its request for the Serbian parliament Foreign Affairs Committee to hold a session "with the aim of putting an end to negligence and insolence, which is the only way to desribe the foreign policy initiatives adopted over the past few months". The LDP leader added that parliament needs to start a discussion on the foreign policy, its pillars and its makers. He recalled that LDP requested the sacking of FM Vuk Jeremic three months ago, "because the chaos in the country's foreign policy should be brought to an end". However, Jovanovic said, Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic and Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Bozidar Djelic should also be held partially responsible. He also referred to Jeremic as "a diplomatic scarecrow". “In Oslo, Serbia will be despised by everyone,” Jovanovic asserted. Jovanovic requested the sacking of Human Rights Minister Svetozar Ciplic, accusing him of being the guilty party in the crisis over the forming of the Bosniak National Council, while he said Ciplic's "clerks tampered with voter lists". According to the LDP leader, Ciplic - whose value he described as "minimal", accusing him of being responsible for the situation in Sandzak - would face criminal prosecution, "in a normal country".
