Deputy Russian FM Vladimir Titov will chair a meeting of Russian ambassadors appointed to Southeast European countries in Belgrade today. The gathering will also be attended by Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic, Tanjug learned at the Russian diplomatic mission in Belgrade. In his earlier statement with the Russian news agency Itar-Tass, Russian Ambassador to Serbia Aleksandr Konuzin said that the meeting will be an opportunity for a detailed analysis of the situation in Southeast Europe, designing ways to activate political contacts and economic cooperation within the bilateral relations between Russia and the countries of the region, but also in the framework of multilateral initiatives. Beside the Russian ambassador to Serbia, Russia's ambassadors to Albania, Bulgaria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Greece, Cyprus, Macedonia, Romania, Slovenia, Turkey, Croatia and Montenegro will also attend the meeting.
