President Boris Tadic announced on Wednesday a series of measures that would aid the economy of Kraljevo. The town in central Serbia that was hit by an earthquake early this month. Tadic announces aid for quake town "The Serbian government has to define its economic policy towards Kraljevo, while I as an economic ambassador will continue searching for new strategic partners," Tadic stated at a meeting of the earthquake crisis center. The economic aid for Kraljevo should include subsidized loans, tax relief for construction, new jobs and debt write-offs. This will help people move on with their lives, because the best way to help someone is to allow them to earn their own money, the president explained. The best kind of assistance would be to create new jobs, Tadic noted, adding that he discussed the city's economy during many of his trips abroad and tried to close new deals for Kraljevo companies. The president mentioned his visit Libya and Azerbaijan as examples of that.
