The authorities in Kosovo have not allowed Minister for Kosovo and Metohija Goran Bogdanovic to visit the village of Priluzje, near Obilic. The ministry has asked EULEX to, in line with its mandate and powers, secure unimpeded visits of Minister Bogdanovic to the southern Serbian province. Pristina authorities block minister's visit A statement issued by the ministry said that the Pristina authorities are periodically attempting to prevent Bogdanovic from visiting Kosovo. The minister was due to attend a ceremony marking the start of construction of eight homes, for which the ministry set aside RSD 12.5mn, and to open a kindergarten in Priluzje, which was also financed by his ministry. However, since the Pristina authorities have prevented him from traveling to the village, his assistant, Dragan Petkovic, will be in Priluzje instead, the statement said.

A statement issued by the ministry said that the Priština authorities are periodically attempting to prevent Bogdanović from visiting Kosovo.

The minister was due to attend a ceremony marking the start of construction of eight homes, for which the ministry set aside RSD 12.5mn, and to open a kindergarten in Prilužje, which was also financed by his ministry.

However, since the Priština authorities have prevented him from traveling to the village, his assistant, Dragan Petković, will be in Prilužje instead, the statement said.
