Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Vincent Degert says that the EC questionnaire contains no questions that refer to state boundaries. The EC will send the questionnaire to Serbia in late November, he said and added that Serbia would not be asked to provide answers regarding the Kosovo issue. “EC questionnaire won't ask about Kosovo” The EC has to approach all matters from a status-neutral position, Degert told Novi Sad-based daily Dnevnik, and added that the Serbian government would not be required to provide answers regarding Kosovo. He repeated that the EC questionnaire would be based on the same principles as the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA), which, as he said, contained a provision that clearly stated that the SAA did not refer to Kosovo. However, he noted that the questionnaire, which will be delivered to Serbia on November 24, would contain several questions focusing on Kosovo, but these would refer to administrative border control and trade and commercial relations.
