EP and Vojvodina jurisdiction transfer In his words, it is especially important that the transfer of jurisdiction is accompanied by the fulfilling of all budget obligations of Serbia, because autonomy is just an empty word unless financial conditions for this process are created. Tokes said that the EP is also interested in the Law on national councils and that it will observe with special attention how this legal solution is implemented, which he characterized as an excellent example of Serbia's resolve in the process of European integration. "We are especially happy that Serbia has good prospects for Euro-Atlantic integration, from the aspect of the minorities," Tokes said, adding that he was also satisfied with the fact that more than 70 percent of Serbia's citizens are in favor of European integration. Speaking about the position of the Wallachs in Serbia, Tokes said that the state should enable them to use their language officially and secure for them the same rights enjoyed by the Romanian community in Serbia.
