President of the Danish parliament Thor Pedersen said in Belgrade on Monday that Denmark fully supports Serbia's efforts to become a member of the EU. Addressing journalists at the Serbian National Assembly building, after the signing of the Agreement on inter-parliamentary cooperation between Serbia and Denmark, Pedersen said that he is satisfied with the progress Serbia has made on its EU pathway, of which his counterpart Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic had informed him. Djukic-Dejanovic thanked for the support Denmark has been giving to Serbia in its efforts to join the EU. Djukic-Dejanovicrecalled that Serbia and Denmark share a long history of diplomatic relations, which were first established in 1917.
