Date of Kosovo elections remains unknown, while in Pristina the consultations are ongoing between acting President Jakup Krasnici and the parliamentary parties. The parties have suggested that early parliamentary elections in Kosovo be held either in early February next year, the middle of that month or early March. Among those who attended the meeting was President of the Independent Liberal Party Slobodan Petrovic. Petrovic, whose party has the highest number of Serbian deputies in the Kosovo Assembly, said that regardless of the election date not being determined yet, the campaign had already begun. Former President of Kosovo and current President of the Democratic League of Kosovo Fatmir Sejdiu said after the meeting that his party considered March 6 an appropriate date for elections. Krasnici said that by March 28, when his mandate of acting Kosovo president shall expire, the parliament should be constituted, and the speaker of parliament and the president of Kosovo elected. The procedures of the Central Electoral Commission make way to have the elections in early February, so that the institutions could be constituted within the mandate of the acting president of Kosovo.

All parliamentary parties in Kosovo agree that the parliamentary elections should be held in next six months, their only point of difference being the date.
