Agreement on establishment of IACA

Serbian Deputy PM and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic signed an agreement on establishing of the International Anti-Corruption Agency (IACA) in Vienna. Dacic underlined that it was very important that Serbia is one of the signatories of the IACA establishment agreement. Agreement on establishment of IACA “This is yet another way to show Serbia's determination to realize one of the priorities of its state policy that is the anti-corruption fight,” Dacic said. He said that the IACA can contribute to efficient fight against corruption both at the international level and in each country which is a member of the initiative. The Luxembourg-based IACA is one the greatest initiatives of the UN in the fight against crime and corruption. The IACA establishment agreement was signed by another 35 countries from around the world, the statement reads. Dacic is participating in a two-day conference on fight against corruption dubbed From Vision to Reality: A New and Holistic Approach to Fighting Corruption, which was organized by the IACA and is scheduled to be closed in Vienna on Friday.
