Germany content with Serbia’s stance

The Germany government stated that Serbia’s readiness to talk with the European Union regarding Kosovo is a positive sign. The decision of Belgrade immediately after the the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ruling on Kosovo to submit a resolution to the UN General Assembly calling for a solution for Kosovo that is acceptable for all sides did not meet with approval in Berlin. Germany content with Serbia’s stance Daily Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung wrote after the visit of German Minister Guido Westerwelle to Belgrade that Serbian politicians are stressing in internal talks that then need a final battle in the UN in order for to be able to tell the domestic public that they tried everything in their fight for Kosovo.
