LDP official Vesna Pesic said that no one wants to criticize the Democratic Party (DS) because everyone hopes to form a coalition with the party. The Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) official told daily Blic that “the system of political institutions is damaged.” LDP: Everyone seeking coalition with DS She said that the government, as the key political body that should be leading the state policies, is not leading foreign policies, but is rather “working as a service of the cabinet of the president.” Pesic said that “the government, prime minister and parliament are not working now, and the political scene has never had an established sense of political pluralism, rather it is based on political courting over how the pieces of the government would be divided by parties.” She said that “DS has created a form of majority absolutism and no one is allowed to stand against them, no one is even allowed to criticize the party, because everyone hopes that they will be forming a coalition with them.” Pesic said that DS has no relevant opposition today that can punish it for mistakes in its policies, therefore, there is no effectiveness in the control of the government. “The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) also said that they are exactly what the DS is, they want Kosovo and the EU, and a new love bloomed.
